We honored two students from each school on May 3, 2024. This is the 8th year for this event. The luncheon was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Cedar Rapids, IA.

Our goal is to honor eighth grade students who have exhibited marked personal growth—not only in their academic achievements, but also in their overall progress as a middle school student.  Students may be chosen for this honor by:

Making good choices

Showing leadership in actions or academics

Improving behavior and attitude

Assisting fellow students

Overcoming difficulties in a positive way

Reasons that you, or the teachers of your school, believe are important
